The Price-Control List is the official price list setting maximum regulated prices for basic items, such as water, coffee and toasties, which must be made available to customers ordering without table service in so-called captive markets.*
In other words, your best friend on this year’s holiday.

Bottled water, 500 ml – €0.50 / €0.60 at airports and on ferries
Bottled water, 750 ml – €0.75 / €0.90 at airports and on ferries
Ham-and-cheese toastie or sandwich, toasted or untoasted – €1.60 / €1.80 at airports and on ferries
Cheese-only toastie or sandwich, toasted or untoasted – €1.40 / €1.60 at airports and on ferries

Single Greek coffee – €1.40 / €1.50 at airports and on ferries
Single filter coffee – €1.50 / €1.60 at airports and on ferries
Single espresso, hot or freddo – €1.65 / €1.80 at airports and on ferries
Single instant coffee, hot or cold – €1.50 / €1.60 at airports and on ferries
Tea, hot or cold – €1.50 / €1.60 at airports and on ferries

The regulated prices:
Apply only to customers ordering without table service.
Also apply when the product is purchased from a vending machine.
On ferries, they apply to domestic routes, not cruise ships.
At airports and on ferries, they must apply 24 hours a day.
The Price-Control List must be displayed in a clearly visible location, and all products covered by the regulated prices must be available for purchase.
If the list is missing, if one of the products is unavailable, or if you are asked to pay more than the regulated price, you can file a consumer complaint through gov.gr.
