The opposition parties reacted to the femicide, with SYRIZA and the New Left submitting amendments for the legalization of the term. PASOK-KINAL denounced the government for “inadequacy,” while the Communist Party of Greece called for an “investigation of the conditions.”
In addition to the Attica Police Headquarters ordering a Sworn Administrative Examination, the Prosecutor’s Office initiated a preliminary investigation into the potential criminal responsibilities of police officers.
