Today, on the third day of the war, Israel broke the ceasefire with Hezbollah and struck Lebanon (31+ dead) and Tehran, while Iran has attacked, among other targets, several cities in Israel, the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait, a water-supply facility in Qatar, and Saudi Arabia’s largest refinery.
In a joint statement, the Gulf states and the United States strongly condemned Iran’s “indiscriminate and reckless use of missiles and drones” across the region, warning that it threatens regional stability.
According to the statement, attacks have also been carried out in Bahrain, Iraq (including Iraq’s Kurdistan region), Jordan, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates.
So far, 555 people have been killed in Iran, at least 10 in Israel, four U.S. soldiers, and another five people in Gulf countries.
Meanwhile, Kuwait’s air defenses mistakenly shot down three U.S. F-15 fighter jets flying Iran-related missions, according to a statement issued today by U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM). All six crew members were rescued and are in stable condition.

Iranian authorities also announced that, following the assassination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Israeli and U.S. strikes, the country will be temporarily governed by a three-member Leadership Council.
