The Directorate for Combating Arson Crimes is investigating the exact cause of the incident. Based on the evidence gathered so far, authorities are examining the possibility that the fire started during oxy-fuel welding work. The flames reportedly spread to a propane tanker located on the premises.

Depending on their alleged involvement, criminal charges were brought against them for causing an explosion, arson that endangered human life, serious bodily harm through negligence, and failure to comply with the required safety measures.
The investigation is ongoing, and the possibility of additional charges will be examined once the expert report has been completed.
