In Achaia, the blaze is out of control, with flames reaching homes in Vouteni, near Sychaina in Patra. Civil Protection issued emergency text alerts urging residents to evacuate towards Patras, including those in the Mpala area.
Preveza faces a similar crisis in Filippiada and nearby Ziros, where at least 10 houses have been destroyed, according to local reports. The fire split into two fronts as winds intensified, reaching up to 8 Beaufort. An evacuation order was also issued for Old Filippiada.
Fifty-five people, including firefighters, have been taken to hospitals and health facilities in the affected areas.
On Zakynthos, devastation has been severe since Sunday, with at least five houses destroyed or badly damaged and more than 1,500 hectares of forest and farmland burned. Numerous livestock have also perished. Three active fire lines now stretch over 15 km.
Chios has suffered comparable damage from a fire that broke out Sunday in Nea Potamia. Villages in Amani and Volissos were evacuated, with the Coast Guard assisting in rescues.
A major blaze is also burning in Vonitsa, while Kefalonia saw a new outbreak Tuesday morning in the Atheras area.
