Donald Trump pressures allies of the European Union, but also countries such as China, Great Britain and Japan, to send warships to the Strait of Hormuz in order to break the blockade of Iran.

The de facto closing of the sea route by Tehran, as retaliation for the air raids of the USA and Israel, proved catastrophic for the global flows of energy and trade, causing the biggest disruption of oil supply in history and a surge of oil prices worldwide.

However, the appeal of the president of the USA to the allies to become involved in the war by sending ships to the strait for the protection of commercial ships and the restoration of the global oil supply received little response.

1300 are the dead in Iran and 850 in Lebanon from the Israel–USA attacks, from attacks of Iran the dead in Israel are 12 and the dead soldiers of the USA 13.

Already, Australia, France, Japan and Great Britain have said that they do not intend to send ships, while the EU is thinking of sending a small naval mission.

Trump stated in an interview to the Financial Times: “It is absolutely right that the people who benefit from the strait help so that it is ensured that nothing bad will happen there. If there is no response or if the response is negative, I believe that it will be very bad for the future of NATO.”

At the same time, USA and Israel continue the attacks on Iran, which responds with attacks on countries of the Gulf (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain).
