The company that was assigned the configuration of the courtroom for the Tempi trial is a contractor of ERGOSE, with the signatures of two of today’s defendants and former ERGOSE executives, according to a report published yesterday by “Reporters United”.

In 2021, with the signature of the then CEO of ERGOSE (now a defendant in the Tempi trial) Solis ATE, based in Larissa, undertook through a tender Contract 752 for the construction of the Neos Panteleimon railway stop in Pieria.

The company delivered the project after four extensions and with an additional cost of €344,000 (total €1,344,000), as “earthworks were to blame” for the delays.

The ERGOSE/OSSE executive (also a defendant) who approved payments to Solis and certified that the company was not responsible for the extensions of Contract 752 held the same role in Contract 717.

The two defendants are among the 15 ERGOSE executives accused of granting extensions to Contract 717.

In 2023, the Region of Thessaly assigned the company the configuration of the courtroom for the Tempi trial, which also received four extensions and cost approximately €700,000 more (total €1.6 million).

As the report concludes: “The contractor who configured the courtroom receives payments for another project with the signatures of two defendants, while the victims’ relatives argue that the configuration of the courtroom favors the defendants.”

The journalists asked Solis whether it had carried out the study for the courtroom itself but received no response. When they addressed the two defendants regarding the findings of the report, the first demanded that his name not be published, while the second did not respond to their calls and messages.
