After the incident became known, parents and relatives entered the school and physically and verbally attacked the principal. She was subsequently taken to hospital.

“At 11:30 a.m., I saw the principal shouting. The only thing I had time to do was record a video so I would have evidence. Unfortunately, there is racism. (…) This has to stop, treating people differently. I could hear her shouting at all the children,” he said.
The Directorate of Primary Education and the Education Ministry condemned the attack on the teacher.
The video was recorded by the godfather of one of the children standing next to the principal. Speaking about the incident, he said he believed the teacher’s behavior was also racially motivated.
