Hamas has handed over the body of Thai hostage Sudthisak Rinthalak. One more body remains to be delivered to complete Phase A of the ceasefire agreement.
Sudthisak Rinthalak was a farmer working in an orchard when he was abducted and taken to Gaza, where he was killed on October 7, 2023, according to a statement by the Israeli Defense Forces on social media.
Donald Trump plans to soon announce the start of Phase B of the agreement, which includes the withdrawal of the IDF from a large part of Gaza, the deployment of an international stabilization force (ISF), and a new governance structure.

Meanwhile, Yasser Abu Shabab, the leader of the most powerful Gaza militia supported by Israel to counter Hamas and control the population, was killed.
