Starting today, Tuesday April 21, began the submission of applications for the Social Tourism programme of the Public Employment Service (DYPA) for the period 2026–2027, for workers and unemployed persons.
Beneficiaries can carry out up to six overnight stays throughout the country, up to ten in Leros, Lesvos, Chios, Kos, Samos and Rhodes and up to twelve in Northern Evia, Evros and Thessaly (except Sporades).
The applications will be made gradually, depending on the last digit of the tax number, and will be completed on April 26.
Applications are submitted electronically through DYPA with Taxisnet codes.
The programme starts on May 18, 2026, will last 13 months and has a budget of €50 million. Beneficiaries are private sector workers with contributions in favour of unemployment and unemployed persons registered with DYPA for at least three months. A condition is that the family income of 2024 must not exceed the limits of the heating allowance.
Together with the beneficiary can also participate members of his family, such as spouse, children and dependent children, as well as companions of persons with disability. The selection is made with scoring, with basic criteria the income, the number of children, the single-parent family, the disability and the non-participation in previous programmes.
Applications are submitted electronically through DYPA with Taxisnet codes. Subsidy of ferry tickets 50% and 100% for persons with disabilities is also provided.
