In Athens, student associations and the Coordinating Committee of Students of Athens are organizing a rally at 12:00 at the Propylaea, calling for “justice” for the victims of the Tempi accident. At 19:00, during the debate on the no-confidence motion against the government, labor centers, federations, and unions will gather at Syntagma Square. In Thessaloniki, the student rally began at 12:00 at the Venizelos Monument, and the afternoon rally is scheduled for 19:00 at the same location.
The metro stations “Syntagma” and “Panepistimio” in Athens have been closed since 10:00, while the stations “New Railway Station,” “Venizelos,” and “Sintrivani” in Thessaloniki have been closed since 11:00, by police order.
Two metro stations in Athens and three in Thessaloniki have been closed since the morning on Friday.
