Students choose between four fields: 1st – Humanities: Language, Ancient Greek, History, Latin; 2nd – Sciences and Technology: Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry; 3rd – Health and Life Sciences: Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology; 4th – Economics and Computer Science: Language, Mathematics, Computer Science, Principles of Economic Theory.

In the 1st field, 55.67% scored below the pass mark in Ancient Greek and 52.10% below the pass mark in History, while in the 2nd and 4th fields, 50.59% scored below 10 in Mathematics.

According to Efimerida ton Syntakton, as regards the orientation groups, no high failure rates were recorded. Even in the Economics and Computer Science group, candidates performed fairly well, certainly compared with previous years and especially in Computer Science and Economics, where record rates of around 70% below the pass mark had been observed.

This year, Mathematics was the subject that proved difficult for candidates in that group as well, with 64.07% of examinees scoring below the pass mark.
