Since 2019, the sectors that have the greatest demand in Greece and where jobs are increasing are computer programming and consulting services, construction, the pharmaceutical industry, logistics, private sector health services and industry, says a survey of the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

More specifically, in computer programming and consulting services, since 2019 there has been an increase of 25,066 positions, which corresponds to a percentage of +107%. In the construction sector, whether it concerns residences or professional spaces, an additional 49,267 jobs have opened and the increase reaches 88%.

The total jobs that have opened since 2019, because of the reduction of unemployment, are 563,000.

In the pharmaceutical industry sector there is an increase of 61% and 6,531 additional jobs, in logistics an increase of 34% and 30,934 new jobs and in private sector health services the rise reaches 32% and the new jobs 26,450. Finally, in industry the percentage of increase reaches 22% and the new jobs created are 66,041.
