Beyoncé is now a billionaire, according to the Forbes report, becoming the fifth artist in the music industry to enter the list, following the success of her “Cowboy Carter” tour, which brought her $450+ million from tickets and merchandise.
Her 2024 album Cowboy Carter received critical acclaim and earned Beyoncé her first Grammy for Album of the Year. The tour that followed the album’s release was the highest-grossing music tour in the world in 2025.
Her husband, Jay-Z, was the first musician to become a billionaire in 2019, while Rihanna, B. Springsteen, and T. Swift have also achieved this milestone.
“In any category of the entertainment industry, there is practically no business more profitable than a musician who can fill stadiums,” Forbes wrote, noting that the concert tour employed 350 people, used equipment that filled 100 trucks, and required eight airplanes to transport the show from city to city.
Most of her wealth comes from music, although she has business ventures such as a haircare brand, a whiskey brand, and a clothing line.
Beyoncé holds the record for the female artist with the most awards and nominations in Grammy history. She also earned approximately $50 million for her halftime show performance during the NFL Christmas game and $10 million for her starring role in Levi’s commercials.
