Israel has continued its bombings and ground assaults in Lebanon, with Hezbollah engaging the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) along the Lebanon-Israel border and launching rockets into northern Israel.
Israel has issued evacuation orders for a quarter of Lebanon’s land area, resulting in 900,000 people fleeing their homes. Of these, 600,000 are internally displaced, and 300,000 have left Lebanon, with a population of 5.4 million, according to the UN.
In recent Israeli bombings, five paramedics were killed in Tyre, bringing the death toll to over 2,000 and the number of injured to over 10,000 since the escalation of Israeli attacks in Lebanon a few weeks ago.

In the past 24 hours, Israel has bombed military targets in Syria, according to Syrian authorities, killing 18 people, as well as a neighborhood in Damascus where embassies are located, resulting in 7 more deaths. Israeli airstrikes have targeted Syria 104 times since January, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Meanwhile, Israel continues its attacks in the West Bank and Gaza, where the death toll has exceeded 42,000. In the West Bank, Israeli forces killed the leader of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades (a coalition of Palestinian armed groups aligned with Fatah) and four others in Nablus. In Gaza, an Israeli strike on a school shelter killed at least 27 Palestinians.
